Tania Alice (1976, France / Brazil) is a performance artist who investigates the possibilities of relational art, working in urban, rural, domestic and artistic institutions with artists and "non-artists". By creating collective and participative projects, her Socially Engaged Art work aims to increase the affective powers between humans and between humans and animals and nature. Somatic Experiencing Therapist, she is also the founder of the Performers Without Borders, a platform that creates artistic projects with people in punctual or chronic emergency situations. PhD in Contemporary Art of the University of Aix-Marseille (France), she is professor of graduate and undergraduate in Performance Art at the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO), where she directs artistic Master and PhD projects. She was a guest artist at art institutions and universities in Belgium, California, France, among others. Her work has been presented in many countries of the world and awarded on several occasions.
