p.ARTE is an independent artist-run platform with exclusive focus on performance art. Founded in 2012 by artists Fernando Ribeiro e Tissa Valverde, p.ARTE promotes performance art in Brazil by providing a space for national and international artists to present their work to an audience that otherwise would have little contact with this form of art.
p.ARTE has happened in Curitiba, Brazil, as a monthly event for the last seven years. It's the longest continuous performance art event in the country.
p.ARTE is curated by Fernando Ribeiro and co-curated by Tissa Valverde and Henrique Saidel.
