Bicicletaria Cultural

Inaugurated in August, 2011, Bicicletaria Cultural is a center dedicated to cyclists as well as a space that organizes cultural services to all ages and a broad range of interests. Bicicletaria houses events and public celebrations focused on art and informal education in a multidisciplinary environment while it continues to promote the bicycle as a viable alternative for public transportation.

The venue is open from Monday to Saturday and is comprised of a gallery, classrooms, a garage and parking for bicycles.

Managed by bike activists involved in Curitiba's cultural and art scene, Bicicletaria is an example of the conjunction of popular mobilization and the private sector with the goal of strengthening the community demands.
